Field Service Engineer

Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for machinery and problem-solving? We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our clients team, delivering top-tier servicing, installation, and maintenance support across a range of industrial machinery.



About the Role



As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of the technical team, working on-site with clients to ensure their machinery runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for:



Servicing and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Installing new machinery and ensuring optimal setup

Diagnosing faults and performing repairs with minimal downtime

Providing technical support and guidance to clients

Completing detailed service reports and documentation



What We're Looking For



Proven experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
