Our client develops and manufactures advanced vacuum products, exhaust management systems, and related services. Their solutions support the production of semiconductors, displays, LEDs, and solar cells, as well as various industrial applications. With over 4,000 employees worldwide, they operate cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on products.
- Troubleshoot errors or failures to root cause.
- Undertake remedial action to restore the product to normal operating conditions.
- Demonstrate or train the correct PM and/or operation of equipment.
- Commission, set up, and test the equipment.
- Complete and maintain various documentation and computer systems used in the execution of work as required.
- Arrive promptly and properly dressed at all field locations.
- Develops and maintains a rapport with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
- Remain on-call as required by the customer and/or service agreement.
- Promote a safety culture, practice proper Edwards safety procedures, and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
Qualifications
- Requires an AS degree, full military equivalent, or 4+ years of equivalent experience in relevant technical fields such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum.
- Experience in Field Service and the Semiconductor industry is .
- Clean driving record.
Required Skills
- Competent in the use of test equipment, including various multimeters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Possess basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet software, and databases.
- Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, be willing to learn, and be committed to getting the job done.
- A self-starter who can set priorities and demonstrate initiative.
