Field Service Engineer
Job Description
A well-established engineering company is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer to cover the UK and International requirements.
As a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, fault finding, trouble shooting and repairing the companies manufactured products.
The ideal Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer will be based in Norwich, electrically biased, and have experience in service or test environments. We are looking for candidates with backgrounds in field service, in-house repair, installation and commissioning, upgrades and managing service contracts, with strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer Role

- Provide on-site service support for company machinery and control systems at customer sites across the UK / Internationally
- Electrical testing, programming, circuitry diagnostics, and fault finding / resolution down to component level
- Collaborate with internal teams for escalated or complex troubleshooting
- Carry out installation, commissioning, upgrading and manage service contracts.
- Document service activities clearly and accurately
- Support customers remotely
- Norwich based with travel across the UK, with regular International travel, 70% minimum travel.

Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer Requirements
- Engineering degree or HNC/HND (Electrical or Mechanical)
- \n
- Previous experience in field service, programming, testing or diagnostics roles
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills – including circuitry testing and electronic diagnostics
- Familiarity with control systems, mechanical and electrical machinery
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be based in Norwich.
