Field Service Engineer

Role: Mobile Forklift Engineer

Salary:£35,000 - £40,000

Location: Dartford

Shift: Monday - Friday - 40 hours

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

Mobile Forklift Engineer Main Duties

Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA & automated equipment, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment

The Mobile Forklift Engineer will receive in return

Company van and fuel card, with the option for private use

Van washing through fuel card account

Door to door payment

Mobile Forklift Engineer Desired Attributes

You must hold a full UK driving licence

NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification

Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics experience

IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders

Good communication skills to liaise customers and internal colleagues

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

A positive and can-do attitude

Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role

A desire to be a brand ambassador
