We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers who utilize advanced industrial packaging machinery such as VFFS and HFFS Baggers, check-weighing systems, x-ray/metal detection, and inline conveyors. This individual will serve as the frontline contact for service and support—ensuring machine uptime, resolving issues, and strengthening customer relationships.
You’ll travel approximately 50–60% of the time to client sites across the U.S., responding to service calls, performing installations, and completing maintenance work. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn commissions by recommending and installing upgraded parts or services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to provide setup, programming, and F.A.T. support for new installations
- Respond to service calls and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Program and integrate systems such as:
- VFFS / HFFS Baggers
- Metal Detection / X-Ray
- Weighing & Print Systems
- Inline Conveyor Systems
- Conduct troubleshooting, system overhauls, and repair work on existing equipment
- Maintain detailed records of service activity, expenses, and customer interaction
- Recommend parts or service upgrades and earn 1% commission on successful implementation
- Ensure all travel-related logistics are coordinated with the internal travel assistant
