Field Service Engineer

A global company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician skilled in electro-mechanical systems and printing equipment. You will be working at customer sites. Excellent compensation, full company paid medical coverage for employees, extensive paid training, paid vacation, overtime eligible, maximum overnight travel is 50%, and 401k with company match.

Responsibilities

• Performing electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical troubleshooting, installing, and repairing and maintaining printing equipment
• Work directly with customers in person and by phone/virtual
• Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team
• Travel to multiple regional customer printing plants

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• At least 5 years' experience electrical and electro-mechanical industrial machinery
• Knowledge of digital and inkjet printing presses. Candidates Inkcups, EPS, IDS Xeikon, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Mimaki, Mutoh, Roland DBA, Fujifilm, Agfa, Canon, Epson, SwissQ, EFI, HP, Heidelberg, Komori, Manroland, or Koenig & Bauer/KBA
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)
• Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting experience
• Experience training maintenance teams
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime
• Must live in Secaucus NJ areaand be able to travel overnight up to 50% of the time
• Strong visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
