Job Summary:
SCREEN SPE is looking for an experienced Installation and Modification Field Service Engineer to provide support for installation, maintenance, and site support for state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing/processing equipment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience using alignment tools (micrometers/calipers/multimeters/current clamp) and the ability to read schematics/plumbing diagrams.
Utilizes Pre-Task Plans and Procedures for all work performed on a tool.
Effectively contributes to problem solving using Model Based Problem Solving methodology.
Maintains L3 certification on required tool sets.
Proactively takes action to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Anticipates and responds to needs of internal and external customers.
Exercise with a high level of judgment and keeps customer informed of work progress and plans.
Excellent communication, documentation, troubleshooting and customer service skills are necessary, as is proficiency in MS Office programs.
Must be able to follow detailed oral and written procedures, and to develop processes.
Must be able to work in a safe manner/follows all safety guidelines. Report any safety issues immediately to supervisor/lead and follow-up with safety report online within 24 hours.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Clean/Etch, track, and or CMP process equipment or equivalent related electro-mechanical equipment.
Must be able to pass customer background check and be able to pass medical test and certification/training for respirator use.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds, climb steep stairs and be able to stand for up to 4 hours.
Develops and maintains excellent working relationship with shift techs and tool owners.
May require night and or compressed shift schedule and travel (up to 80%).
Education & Experience:
AAS Degree or equivalent experience
