We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Project Manager to lead and support our Power Services operations based in Savannah. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of field service projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will coordinate closely with technicians, clients, vendors, and internal teams to drive operational success and uphold our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, including scopes, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables. Coordinate and schedule service technicians for onsite work across industrial projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Provide updates, manage expectations, and ensure a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Field Operations Oversight: Supervise ongoing service projects to ensure they are executed safely and efficiently. Monitor technician performance and verify readiness and compliance before deployment.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Source and manage third-party vendors and subcontractors. Ensure timely delivery of parts, equipment, and services required for each project.
- Work Order & Service Record Management: Create, track, and close out work orders; document repairs, maintenance schedules, equipment swaps, and invoice support.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure all service activities adhere to safety, environmental, and electrical standards in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, customer concerns, and service challenges with professionalism and efficiency.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage parts inventory to reduce downtime and support project readiness.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot project challenges, scheduling conflicts, and customer concerns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
Requirements:
- Project Management Experience: 2+ years of experience managing field or service-related projects, preferably in the electrical, mechanical, or industrial sectors.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across teams and interact professionally with customers.
- Organizational Strength: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with industrial service operations, mechanical or electrical systems a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with work order or service management software (BuildOps) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, adapt to last-minute changes, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well across technical and administrative teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and inventory tracking.
