Field Service Coordinator
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur manufacturing client in Irwin, PA is looking for a Field Service Coordinator.
-Answer customer questions by phone, email, or in person.
-Give accurate information about our products and services.
-Schedule field service visits based on technician availability, location, and skill.
-Keep customers informed about service appointments and updates.
-Maintain service records and keep our scheduling system up to date.
-Coordinate with technicians about any changes or urgent issues.
-Arrange necessary parts, tools, and resources for service visits.
-Help schedule and quote preventive maintenance visits.
-Assist in managing our spare parts and critical equipment programs.
-Create service forecasts, process invoices, and track any changes in expected revenue.
-Work with the finance team to resolve billing issues and process credit card payments.
-Notify the finance team when pre-paid services can be billed as revenue.
-Make sure tax and insurance documents are accurate and up to date.
-Organize technician training and support their travel needs, including paperwork for international visits.
-Track and store service reports and warranties.
-Create quotes in SAP for services, parts, and upgrades, and follow up with customers to convert quotes into sales.
-Process customer orders and support contract review in SAP.
-Update Salesforce with customer info and equipment status.
-Complete customer surveys and ensure we meet safety and compliance standards.
-Support the Customer Service team when needed.
Requirements:
-High school diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree ).
-At least 2 years of experience in service coordination, ideally in manufacturing or field service.
-Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems independently.
-Some understanding of machine tools and equipment.
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools like SAP or Salesforce.
-Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to follow ISO quality procedures.
-A team player who works well with different departments and teams.
