Field Project Manager - Zenner

This would be a perfect opportunity for recent college grads looking to start a career in project management and would like to travel the country for deployments.
 

Position Summary:
This project management position is hands on work in the field. Training for such will be hands-on and onsite. Project management requires the individual to do prep work before going to the field, and then physically installing or troubleshooting the devices/equipment. The individual will be installing equipment in the field, which could potentially be ground level or in high places where it may require ladders, lift trucks, or a harness to climb a water tower. A lot of travel is done, as project managers are on the road roughly 80% - 90%. Field installation of MIUs and training of the customer is also a large part of the project manager’s responsibility, as well as understanding of all equipment. Association of hardware to software is required as well and is part of every installation. The incumbent must be hands-on doing much of the work directly.
 

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Must have experience working in harsh conditions (such as weather related and around insects/bugs).
• Must be willing/capable of climbing water towers.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft project and Excel

Provide high end installation, troubleshooting and repairs while maintaining quality assurance on Zenner’s entire product line.

Regularly assists customers, resellers and Zenner personnel with product support to solve operating problems through telephone communication or field visits

Conducts technical training programs with resellers and customers as required
10%

Prepares technical reports for customers and management as required
5%

Assists with the field testing of new products to ensure performance reliability
5%

All other duties as assigned
