About Us
A growing contractor specializing in concrete repair for infrastructure—bridges, roads, dams, and other critical civil structures - are hiring a Project/Field Engineer. Backed by experienced leadership and a strong 2025 backlog, we're building out the core team to support projects across VA, OH, and AR.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Coordinator / Field Engineer, you'll support the execution of structural repair projects in the field. You’ll be part of a boots-on-the-ground team, helping manage daily operations, field documentation, and communication between crews and leadership. This is a travel-intensive role that requires extended stays on project sites. Travel home is typically provided 1–2 times per month, with all lodging and accommodations covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily construction operations on-site
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation
- Support communication between field crews, vendors, and project managers
- Help ensure quality control and safety compliance
- Track project progress and contribute to schedule updates
- Provide administrative support for field operations
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or infrastructure (bridge or structural work a plus)
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and live on-site during projects
- Familiarity with construction documentation and project workflows
- Degree in Construction Management or related field , not required
Location
Virginia-based candidates strongly — especially in the Shenandoah Valley (Winchester, Warren, Clarke, Frederick counties).
