This is not a desk job. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, boots on the ground, and deeply committed to building strong teams, reliable coverage, and a respected security presence across all assigned sites.

Position Summary:

The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple client sites across the metro Atlanta area, managing a workforce of approximately 70 security officers, including site supervisors and team leads.

This is a mission-critical leadership position that requires flexibility, accountability, and operational expertise. The right candidate must be prepared to respond to emergencies, cover shifts when needed, and work beyond standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of multiple active security posts across the region
• Supervise, develop, and support site supervisors and front-line security personnel
• Ensure all sites are staffed, equipped, and operational 24/7
• Step in and provide on-site coverage if a post is left vacant, regardless of the hour
• Build and maintain a strong leadership presence at all sites with weekly visits
• Enforce company standards for appearance, conduct, patrols, and client interaction
• Conduct spot checks, audits, training evaluations, and performance reviews
• Work with the Command Center to fill gaps in scheduling and anticipate callouts
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of security staff
• Review and approve timesheets for payroll accuracy and compliance
• Host regular site meetings and client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and alignment
• Address operational deficiencies and coach site leadership on corrective action
• Deliver concise reporting to upper management on site activity and staff performance

Required Qualifications:

• 35+ years of security industry experience (supervisory or operations-level required)
• Experience managing multiple sites and 50+ personnel
• Flexible availability (weekends, evenings, holidays as needed)
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Willingness to physically work posts if required
• Strong understanding of site scheduling, incident reporting, and employee discipline

Qualifications:

• Prior military, law enforcement, or armed security experience
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Experience in contract security or client-facing operations
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
• Working knowledge of HRIS/timekeeping systems (e.g., BambooHR, TSM)
