Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Utility/Power Field Market Development Manager responsible for the ongoing development of new and existing commercial, industrial, and utility electrical service accounts in Florida. This role involves cultivating a deep understanding of client facilities, providing technical solutions to enhance business efficiency, and ensuring safe operating electrical systems. You will play a pivotal role in executing the go-to-market strategy and driving profitable revenue growth while expanding our vertical market client base and geographic reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying potential clients to securing deals.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships through networking and proactive engagement.
  • Conduct routine audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for client projects.
  • Oversee quality control measures for on-site work.
  • Schedule subcontractors to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team for timely project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels within client organizations.
  • Execute plans to ensure consistent communication with existing customers and key prospects.
  • Identify and capture profitable revenue opportunities.
  • Attend trade meetings to gather information and establish contacts.
  • Resolve post-sale client issues effectively.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience (5+ years) in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  • Electrical field experience required.
  • Prior sales or marketing experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Experience in power and pulp & paper industries .

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in preparing electronic take-offs and estimates.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset.

Work Location and Travel:

  • The main office is located at 2730 Mine and Mill Road, Lakeland, FL.
  • Travel to client and customer sites is required.
  • Days and hours of work may vary at times to include some evenings and weekends.
