The Opportunity:

Gemini Water is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to work as an assistant for shop and installation crews. The Individual must be active and able to lift and maneuver 50-pound equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and isnt afraid to pick up a hammer or wrench to get the job done. The Field Installation Technician position is a full-time position in our Gainesville, Florida shop location. Production hours are from 7:30am 4:00pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with shop fabrication, assembly, and general maintenance tasks.
• Cut, drill, and fit materials including structural aluminum, stainless steel piping, fiberglass, and PVC.
• Perform basic plumbing and mechanical tasks such as cutting and gluing PVC pipes and fittings.
• Handle equipment setup, movement, and inspection.
• Use hand tools and power tools for repair, maintenance, and fabrication work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Occasionally travel to job sites to support installation crews as needed.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards.

• Travel to various project sites as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Hands-on experience with basic construction, repair, or fabrication tools (e.g., hammers, wrenches, drills, saws).
• Comfortable working with materials like PVC, stainless steel, fiberglass, and wood.
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Excellent safety awareness and work ethic.
• Must hold a valid drivers license.
