Responsibilities

  • Supervise field engineering operations
  • Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to field teams.
  • Review and approve field reports, change orders, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality assurance and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate field engineers and technical staff.
  • Assign daily tasks and manage workforce scheduling
  • Facilitate technical training and safety briefings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee procurement and proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA or applicable standards).
  • Conduct regular safety audits and incident investigations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of field activities.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact on job sites.
  • Provide status updates and resolve technical issues with clients.
  • Support project meetings and site coordination efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • OSHA safety certification.
