Field Engineer – Heavy Civil & Mission Critical Projects
Location: Multiple Project Sites in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic (Travel Required)

Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled, award-winning contractor, is seeking a Field Engineer to support heavy civil and mission-critical construction projects across the Southeast. This role is key to assisting project leadership in ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Gregory’s high standards of quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist Superintendents and Project Managers with daily field operations and planning.

Track project progress, schedules, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.

Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.

Provide support in maintaining safety and quality compliance on-site.

Prepare daily reports, field documentation, and assist with quantity tracking.

Participate in layout, survey coordination, and troubleshooting field issues.

Communicate updates to the project management team and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Support in managing materials, equipment, and documentation to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
-
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of construction field experience (heavy civil or mission-critical ).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or construction software is a plus.

Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Willingness to travel frequently to job sites across the region.
