Job Description
Field Engineer\n\nAltera Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing organisation operating at the forefront of sustainable waste and energy technology. Our client is seeking a hands on Field Engineer to support the deployment, operation and optimisation of cutting edge systems designed to convert waste streams into renewable energy.\n\nKey Responsibilities of a Field Engineer\n\n * Support operation of pilot scale and commercial systems across multiple customer sites\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding activities\n\n * Assist with commissioning of new installations and provide ongoing operational support\n\n * Conduct system testing, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of process equipment\n\n * Work closely with internal teams, contractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\n * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally with regular overnight stays\n\n * Experience in field engineering, commissioning or maintenance within industrial process environments\n\n * Practical knowledge of pumps, gas systems, water treatment or similar process equipment\n\n * Electrical competency with relevant certification or demonstrable experience\n\n * Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Salary in the region of £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience\n\n * UK wide field based role with flexible working hours based on a 37.5 hour week\n\n * Private medical cover, life assurance and enhanced holiday allowance plus bank holidays\n\n * Opportunity to join a fast growing clean technology business backed by major industrial partners\n\n * Excellent long term career progression within an innovative and sustainability focused sector\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a business developing next waste to energy technology and play a key role in delivering sustainable infrastructure across the UK.\n\nTo apply or learn more, please contact Altera Recruitment Group today for a confidential discussion
