Job Title: Field Engineer – Semiconductor Construction (Swing Shift) Location: Chandler, AZ (Intel Campus) Shift: Swing — 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM roughly sometimes earlier, Monday–Friday Compensation: Competitive flat monthly salary, paid weekly

About the Role PPG Staffing is partnering with a Tier-1 General Contractor on a major semiconductor construction project at the Intel campus in Chandler, AZ. We are hiring a Field Engineer to support field operations on the swing shift (2 PM–midnight).

This is a technical, detail-driven role supporting the field team with submittals, RFIs, procurement, vendor coordination, and on-site engineering support.

Key Responsibilities

• Review vendor submittals against design documents and specifications; identify gaps and misalignment
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with vendors, designers, and procurement to keep the field moving
• Evaluate vendor deviations and route through proper approval channels
• Support pricing comparisons and procurement decisions for spec-compliant solutions
• Partner with Superintendents on constructability issues and field resolutions
• Conduct site walks to verify work matches specifications and drawings

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or APM on commercial/industrial construction
• Semiconductor, mission-critical, data center, healthcare, or large industrial project experience
• Prior Tier-1 GC experience (Hensel Phelps, DPR, Mortenson, McCarthy, Whiting-Turner, Sundt, Clayco, etc.)
• Strong technical document review skills — submittals, specs, drawings, RFIs
• Must be available and committed to the 2 PM–12 AM swing shift schedule
