Job Description
We are looking for a talented Field Engineer to work on major water treatment projects around London & Reading.\n\n-Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£54,000 (subject to experience).\n\n-Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities.\n\nResponsibilities: \n\n-Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance checks across a system of CHP Spark Ignition generators, within a geographical region.\n\n-Coordinate with CHP support professionals and suppliers, ensuring generator maintenance assessment are executed safely, minimising downtime and budget.\n\n-Produce and maintain up to date reports, records, and documentation within a limited timeframe, whilst ensuring accuracy across all documents.\n\n-Verify project materials, tools and elements that are required for waste, lubricants, and other orders.\n\n-Promote and nurture health and safety across all work activities, whilst ensuring all works follow industry standards, procedures, and key legislations.\n\n-Ensure consistent excellence across all customer service practices, whilst conducting product training, ensuring team performance and professional development.\n\nRequirements:\n\n-NVQ or C&G Qualified in mechanical and/or electrical engineering is desirable.\n\n-Strong proficiency in the operation and optimisation of assets gained from the use of generator and/or engine controls, such as DIA.NE, ComAp, and TEM Evo.\n\n-Significant understanding of all elements involved within the operation and upkeep of internal combustion engines.\n\n-Ability to conduct methodological, thorough, and comprehensive diagnostic checks on generator, engine, and other relevant systems.\n\n-Capacity to operate and optimise engine and generator control assets, using ComAp, TEM Evo, and DIA.NE.\n\n-Willingness to work both independently and as a part of a team, ensuring high quality work delivery, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
