About the Role:

We’re seeking a Field Engineer II to lead on-site installation, maintenance, and commissioning of telecom infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and a passion for quality service delivery. You’ll work across multiple technologies and mentor junior engineers while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain telecom network systems (fiber, copper, and equipment racks).
• Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault resolution for network systems.
• Support AC/DC power systems and perform advanced network testing (OTDR, Ethernet, etc.).
• Lead field operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with NOCs and project teams to meet SLAs and deliver on-time solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor junior staff, and document project work accurately.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in telecom field engineering or network installation/maintenance.
• Strong understanding of DWDM, SDH, IP, and optical transport systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ciena, Infinera, Nokia, Juniper, or Cisco equipment.
• Skilled in fiber and copper installation, testing (10G/40G/100G), and fault isolation.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power systems and structured cabling standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel and on-call rotation expected.
