Senior Field Engineer – Data Center Construction

I’m partnering with a leading U.S. construction contractor that is continuing to expand its presence across major mission-critical and data center projects.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Field Engineer to join a large-scale data center construction project in Temple, TX, supporting project execution across technical coordination, subcontractor management, documentation, quality, safety, and project controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Project Engineers and Superintendents with day-to-day project execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
• Manage as-built drawings, project documentation, and daily reports.
• Support change orders, budget forecasting, quantity tracking, and cost control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, designers, owners, and suppliers.
• Resolve technical and field-related construction issues.
• Support project quality, safety, risk management, and schedule execution.
• Assist with BIM coordination and field layout where required.
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of experience within field engineering, construction, or project delivery.
• Experience working for a General Contractor on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience with RFIs, submittals, drawings, as-builts, and field coordination.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong communication and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Good understanding of construction safety, quality, and project controls.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience is highly desirable.
