United Power system Inc has an open position for an Electronic Technician. This is primarily a Field Service position which involves daily traveling within the Northeast and various other states. This job requires troubleshooting and servicing of Uninterruptible Power Systems, Inverters, Industrial Rectifiers, and other types of power conditioning equipment at various business locations.

Position

• Field Electronic Technician

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduled Preventive Maintenance
• Remedial and Emergency Services, (Troubleshooting and repair)
• Commissioning and startup of new equipment
• Customer training
• Site monitoring and Power Quality Analysis

Qualifications:

• Prospective candidates must have a minimum of three years’ experience working in the electrical electronic engineering field.
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Must have good Customer Relation skills
• Must be willing to drive daily to job sites.
• Must be a skilled troubleshooter of electrical and electronic power systems
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must have a valid driver license

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering.
