Field Documentation & File Development Technician (Contract)

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Field Documentation Technician to support inspection documentation and file development for insurance-related restoration projects.

This is a structured, process-driven role. It is not general labor. The focus is on capturing accurate information, organizing documentation, and delivering clean, estimate-ready files.

Responsibilities:

• Capture organized photo documentation of job sites
• Label and organize photos by room and sequence
• Record moisture readings and field observations
• Enter file notes and timeline documentation
• Upload and organize documents for claim files
• Assist in preparing estimate-ready file packages

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow step-by-step instructions
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet
• Basic construction knowledge (, not required)

Compensation:

• $19/hr for independent production work
• $12.50/hr during training/guided work
• $25 bonus per closed file
• Performance bonuses available
