We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer based in Bedford to join one of our clients on a permanent basis.\n\nSummary of the Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer role \n\nSalary: £35,000 - £40,000\nLocation: Bedford\nType of Contract: Permanent\nHours: 42.5 Hours, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm\nBenefits: 25 days holiday, company vehicle and tools provided, training and professional development opportunities and more!\n\nDisclaimer: you must live within an hours commute of Bedford and have a driving licence that includes towing with no more than 6 points. \n\nResponsibilities of the Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer\n\nTravel to customer sites within a 50 mile radius to repair equipment.\nMaintain and install compressed air systems.\nFault diagnose and repair compressors.\nRun diagnostic tests to find and fix system issues.\nLog job reports.\nComplete planned and preventative maintenance.\nRequirements for a successful Field-Based Compressed Air Engineer\n\nMechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualifications.\nProven field service engineering experience.\nCompressed air industry experience.\nUK Driving licence which includes towing trailers.\nFault diagnosis and repair experience.\nAnalytical and logical.\nGood IT skills with familiarity with Office 365.\nAllstaff Recruitment are an Independent Recruitment Specialist based in Bedfordshire who work on behalf of companies across Bedford, Milton Keynes and surrounds to fill their vacancies and meet their recruitment needs.
