Position Overview
The Assistant Supervisor will support the Regional or Area Manager with various daily tasks, including training assistance, conducting inspections, reporting issues, covering call-outs, and ensuring all staff adhere to safety protocols. This role requires an experienced cleaning professional who can maintain high cleaning standards while effectively meeting customer needs. Key Responsibilities

Coverage:

• Cover callouts and open positions if coverage cannot be found.

• Be flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Training:

• Collaborate with the Regional or Area Manager to train new Service Partners to Building Task Schedules and ServiceMaster cleaning techniques.

• Assist in training new hires to ServiceMaster TBS standards and complete training sign-offs.

• Support ongoing professional development, including industry certifications and participation in safety and environmental training programs.

Inspection:

• Perform building inspections as scheduled, complete Recap Forms, and upload photos to CompanyCam.

• Assist in follow-up inspections to resolve complaints and ensure continual improvement of service quality.

• Promote high standards of cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company protocols.

Reporting:

• Complete daily recaps and assist in addressing quality issues or audit call-outs.

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, report shortages, and help manage stock levels.

• Accurately document inspections, incidents, and training completion as required..

Safety Management:

• Manage and report safety concerns and incidents to the Regional or Area Manager.

• Ensure adherence to all company and industry safety policies (e.g., OSHA, SDS) and champion a culture of safety-first practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Act as a team lead and provide support, coaching, and motivation for all staff members.

• Embrace technology for inspections, reporting, and scheduling.

• May perform cleaning tasks to support the team during staffing shortfalls, ensuring all service commitments are met.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning services and team supervision (1–3 years ).

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo a background check.

• Tech-savvy and familiar with common office and reporting software.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
