Field Application Engineer in Waltham

Job DescriptionJob Description

● Execute customer integrations, validation procedures, and field tests under the guidance of a Senior Field Application Application Engineer.

● Provide on-site field support for integration customers, with supervision from a Senior Field Application Application Engineer or Integration Project Manager.

● Conduct field diagnosis and resolve operational issues with effectiveness as they arise

● Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field

● Experience in Field Applications Engineering, Solution Architecture, System Design, or similar

● Experience working with customers directly, delivering technical solutions

● Ability to plan and execute integrations of products at customer sites

● Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

● Familiarity with AutoCAD or comparable software applications

● Familiarity with networking protocols and devices (routers, switches, and firewalls)

● Familiarity with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu)

● Familiarity with Python, C++, Typescript, Kotlin, or other modern programming

Travel:

● Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.

● Ability to utilize personal credit cards for travel expenses, with subsequent reimbursement
