Position Title: Field Additive TechnicianLocation: Houston Tx (Travel Required)Job Type: Full-TimeReports To: Operations ManagerPosition Summary:We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Field Additive Technician to join our growingteam. This role is critical in supporting field operations by ensuring accurate and safe applicationof petroleum additives, maintaining specialized equipment, and upholding compliance with allcontractual and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesField Operations:• Perform field treatments to ensure petroleum cargo meets required quality andcontractual specifications.• Design and implement optimal additive treatment strategies.• Monitor treatment effectiveness, making real-time adjustments as needed.• Maintain full compliance with safety protocols, client requirements, and industrystandards.• Communicate and collaborate directly with clients to deliver efficient, cost-effectivesolutions.• Supervise and execute field operations, ensuring all work aligns with CCS and clientpolicies.• Provide operational insights and recommendations to the Operations Manager for processimprovement.
Equipment Maintenance:• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the shop and field.• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.• Maintain records of maintenance tasks, parts usage, and repair costs.• Assemble, install, and troubleshoot equipment and machinery.• Order parts and supplies as needed to ensure equipment reliability and readiness.
Warehouse Support:• Receive, store, and organize inventory in warehouses or storage yards.• Inspect stock for damage or wear and report any issues.• Label, tag, and manage stock records using manual or digital systems.• Assist with general warehouse cleanliness and organization.Qualifications:
Education & Experience:• High school diploma or equivalent required.• 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical, technical, or field service roles.Skills & Competencies:• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.• Willingness to travel frequently, often with short notice.• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Must have TWIC card• Must be eligible to obtain a CDL with HazMat endorsement (or be willing to pursue it).
