Minimum of ten (10) plus years experience with the following: fiber optic network cabling installations, splicing, testing, terminating, assembling, and documenting; copper network cable installation, termination and testing; Corning, Exfo, Fujikura, Sumitomo Air-Blown Fiber (ABF), and Fluke Networking equipment; and analysis of system performance or operational requirements and network infrastructure. Must be capable of executing project surveys and provide project designs, material lists and cost estimates. Possessing a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering, is a plus.

Seniorfiberopticengineering technician supportservices

Minimum of five (5) plus years experience with the following: fiber optic network cabling installations, splicing, polishing, cleaving, connecting, fusion splicing, testing, terminations (fusion and mechanical), electro-mechanical connectorization, assembling, and documenting; Cat 6, Coax, and fiber optic cabling; operating test equipment for evaluating fiber optic and copper connected components, sensors and systems, experience working with Corning, Exfo, Fujikura, Sumitomo ABF, and Fluke Networking equipment. Ability to splice optical fibers, optimize splicing procedures of specialty fibers, is a plus. Should be capable of executing project surveys and provide project designs, material lists and cost estimates.

Minimum of two (2) plus years experience with the following: fiber optic network cabling installations, splicing, polishing, cleaving, connecting, fusion splicing, testing, terminations (fusion and mechanical), electro-mechanical connectorization, assembling, and documenting; conducting fiber optic testing with Corning, Exfo, and Fluke testers, assist with design/engineering of Internet Service Provider (ISP)/ Operating Server Provider (OSP) projects and fiber optic cabling documentation OSP Insight; operating test equipment for evaluating fiber optic and copper connected components, sensors and systems, experience working with Corning, Exfo, Fujikura, Sumitomo ABF, and Fluke Networking equipment; Cat 6, Coax, and fiber optic cabling; fiber and copper maintenance: emergency restoration, inspection services, troubleshooting, fiber documentation, industry standards, and installation techniques.
