Position Overview
The Federal Project Manager will oversee and manage construction projects for federal clients, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, compliance with federal regulations, and effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion for federal clients.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including EM385 standards and other relevant guidelines.
- Conduct regular project inspections and quality assurance to meet the required standards.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, including government agencies.
- Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and documentation to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with federal projects.
- Strong knowledge of federal construction regulations and standards, including DoD and USACE guidelines.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is .
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality control management (QCM) processes and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
