Job DescriptionJob Description

FDOT Certified Electrician for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

· Proficient in the installation of the following typical power ITS components: enclosed transformers, service disconnects, circuit breakers, load centers, panelboards, meter sockets.

· Proficient in the installation of electrical raceways: LTFMC, GRC, EMT, PVC

· Able to review, understand and follow basic electrical diagrams

· Able to perform basic troubleshooting of both wiring and hardware components

· Able to diagnose common electrical problems such as failed fuses, overloaded circuits, poor connections, faulty wiring and incorrect hardware installation

· Able to perform cable locating and components inventory

· Full health and pension benefits from Local Union

· Company PTO program available

· Valid Driver’s License Required

· Willing to work in the elements year round

· Company sponsored CDL available
