• Per Diem: $45 per day for travel expenses.

Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fall Protection System Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, with specialized knowledge of fall protection systems, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role involves weekday regional travel and occasional weekend work, with opportunities to work at height in diverse environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials and equipment, ensuring proper storage and organization.

• Install fall protection systems such as cable systems, rails, anchors, and handrails in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications.

• Operate boom lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other access equipment safely and efficiently.

• Conduct dynamic risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure installations meet design standards.

• Inspect installed systems for compliance with safety regulations and functionality.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and safety checks.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry or fall protection system installation.

• Familiarity with working at heights, including rooftops, ladders, towers, and lifts.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Ownership of basic hand tools; knowledge of or willingness to learn specialty tools.

• Basic fabrication skills (e.g., welding practices) are desirable but not mandatory.

Certifications & Safety:

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a background check and gain access to military bases.

• Strong safety record; favorable results of drug screening.

• Comfortable working at heights; capable of climbing ladders or towers safely.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of health and safety regulations such as OSHA standards for fall protection, Working at Height Regulations, PPE requirements, and equipment inspection protocols256.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods (8–12 hours).

Qualifications:

• Previous experience installing fall protection systems or similar safety-critical products..

• Knowledge of structural fixings (e.g., mechanical/chemical anchors) used in fall protection installations

• Familiarity with digital information systems for recording project details2.
