Factory Operations Manager role in Leeds focussing on the production, logistics, maintenance and HSEQ - looking for someone with a strong data driven mindset and a collaborative leadership approach. \n\nClient Details\n\nI'm currently working in partnership with a highly successful Leeds based manufacturer who supply a large range of products to a stable and growing customer base.\n\nThis leading UK business has experienced impressive growth in recent years and are looking for a Production Operations Manager / Factory Manager to maximise productivity, minimise cost and maintain quality through effective management of their manufacturing teams. \n\nDescription\n\nThe Factory Operations Manager will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of production, logistics, maintenance and HSEQ across the site, and will have a huge impact on the strategic direction of the business.\n\nResponsibilities will include:\n\nProviding strong, visible leadership across all site functions\nCreating a culture of safety, accountability, performance, and continuous improvement\nEnsuring clear communication of goals, KPIs, and business priorities across the site\nModelling a 'safety first' culture, ensuring operational procedures, equipment and processes allow for a safe working environment for all employees\nDriving continuous improvement activities and working alongside the MD to review strategic developments for the business's long-term success\nWorking closely with the SHEQ team to ensure effective quality assurance systems are embedded, maintained, and continuously improved\nLeading the planning and execution of daily production, logistics & maintenance activities to achieve output targets, service levels, and cost objectivesProfile\n\nSuccessful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background in a fast-paced product base, and a proven ability in leading and developing teams.
