Facility Maintenance Technician

M-F 8AM - 5PM
Position Summary
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general building maintenance and repair work to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role supports daily operations by troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other facility-related issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of facility systems, including:

- Lighting fixtures and bulbs
- Electrical outlets and switches
- Plumbing systems, pipes, faucets, sinks, and toilets
- HVAC equipment and air conditioning systems
- Doors, locks, windows, and office furniture
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees and departments.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, offices, production areas, break rooms, and restrooms.
- Troubleshoot facility issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when necessary.
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and repair reports.
- Support facility improvement and renovation projects.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours facility support when needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical school certification or maintenance-related training .
- Minimum 2 years of facility maintenance, building maintenance, or handyman experience.
- Knowledge of:

- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- Basic computer skills for work order tracking and reporting.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
