Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician
Pay rate: $21-$23.93
Location: Atlanta GA 30328/ Oklahoma City, OK
Duration: 9 Months (possible extension)
Shift Time: Monday-Friday, dayside/standard business hours
Job Description:
- Hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician I - responsible for performing various semi-skilled duties associated with the repair and maintenance of buildings, furnishings, equipment and grounds with expectation to gain familiarity of maintenance concepts, practices and methodologies commensurate with a Tech II, Sr. Maintenance OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS/Diploma GED in a related discipline; OR 3 years experience in a related field.
- Ability to oversee multiple properties.
- Cursory knowledge of building system terms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal, and collaborative skills.
- Valid local State Drivers License.
Environment and Working Conditions:
- Works in both office and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to inclement weather.
- May also work in warehouses and/or specialized facility environments as assigned.
- Travel to remote offices involves exposure to traffic situations including emergency responses both day and night
- Repeated bending, lifting, reaching, sitting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, navigating stairs, standing and carrying parts, tools and supplies
- May require frequent use of ladder or stepstool, furniture dolly, hydraulic lift gate, tie-down straps, forklift and scissor lift
