Facility Maintenance Technician
Summary: Responsibilities include basic and routine facility maintenance. Performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Possesses basic knowledge of computers and can use companies’ maintenance software called FIIX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requires a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical solving, including AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480), and high amperage.
- Journeyman electrical license a plus.
- Requires the ability to make low and high-voltage repairs to buildings’ electrical equipment. This includes solving, installing, and repair of 110/220/277/480 volt single and multiphase electrical circuitry and devices.
- Must be experienced in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts to 32 ‘.
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders, and /or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools to perform mechanical installations.
- Computer experience for input and retrieval of data.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.
- Maintains and performs lock out /tag out.
- Preforms daily work orders and preventative maintenance schedules assigned by General Maintenance Manager
- Perform daily walk-through of the facility and identify any safety issues to the General Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Must have 2 or more years of experience in a facilities maintenance environment with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Basic computer knowledge and literacy required (Windows applications.
- Ability to problem-solve issues and work independently coupled with the desire to work in a team environment.
- Position requires strong communication skills (verbal & written.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED/ Technical or Trade School a plus
