MEMCO SER is currently looking for a Facility Maintenance to work in Katy, TX asap!!

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance to support the ongoing operation and upkeep of our facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Repairs & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Replace defective parts and restore equipment functionality in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Facility Upkeep

• Complete maintenance tasks, and general building repairs.
• Assist with basic groundskeeping and landscaping maintenance as needed.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable safety and health regulations.
• Consistently utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety procedures.

Inventory & Supplies Management

• Monitor maintenance inventory levels and maintain organized storage of tools and materials.
• Order necessary parts and supplies to support uninterrupted operations.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Support regulatory compliance through proper documentation and reporting.

Emergency Response

• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or facility-related emergencies.
• Assess situations and determine whether issues can be resolved internally or require outside specialist support.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a facility commercial maintenance or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Working knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
• MUST have experience in industrial fabrication and mechanical work
