Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer in Fountain Valley, is hiring for Factory Facility Maintenance Assistant! The minimum requirement is at least 1 year of Facility Maintenance experience for commercial or factory buildings.

• Location: Fountain Valley, CA
• Direct Hire with Excellent Benefit Package: Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance, 401K with matching, Paid Holiday & PTO
• Work Hours: 5 days/week, Monday – Saturday (Sunday and another day off during weekday), 1st shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Salary Range: $20.50 ~ $26.50/hr

Requirements of the Facility Maintenance Assistant:

• 1+ year of factory/commercial buildings facility maintenance experience is a must
• Experience installing and buying equipment .
• Valid Driver's license is required
• Active boiler license is a big plus
• Ability to accept direction and have a desire to work as part of a team
• Computer literate with thorough understanding of MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible and easily adapt to change
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and climb to perform job functions as needed

Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance Assistant:

Perform all duties associated with the maintenance and daily operation of the facility in the factory.

• All maintenance activities for Factory facility including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Safety, and lighting systems, Boiler operation/monitoring
• Operate and maintain equipment per suppliers' recommendations and standard operating procedures
• Prepare asset care preventative maintenance schedules and strictly follow these schedules.
• Update Factory Supervisor and Manager with daily reports.
• Perform facility maintenance and keep inventory of all utility equipment and materials.
• Perform troubleshooting duties under supervisor's direction.
• Maintain a safe work environment by practicing company policies, standard food safety (HACCP)/OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
