About usEuropean Semiconductor Manufacturing Company(ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC,Bosch, Infineon and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-artsemiconductor fab in the heart of Europe. ESMC represents ourshared commitment to strengthening the European semiconductorecosystem.To help us build the foundation of our future fab inDresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:AsFacilities Technician you are responsible for operating,maintaining, and troubleshooting of Chemical/Gas/Slurrydistribution systems and equipment. You play the pivotal role toensure standard operating procedures are followed accurately andreliably to ensure our fab follows highest environmental protectionstandards.
By performing laboratory testing and systematicverification and alignment of measurements from variousinstruments, sensors, and equipment our fab can run smoothly thanksto your work.To ensure 24 hours operations, our Fab Technicianswill work in shift model in cooperation with other Technicians,Engineers, and Managers to ensure that all process specificationsare met at all times.Job responsibilitiesMaintains a clean,orderly, and safe workplace, follow all safety policies andprocedures at all times and make recommendations for continuousimprovement of work method, safety, materials-, and toolhandling.Operates and controls systems & equipment forGas/Chemical and Slurries.Observes gauges, signals and recordinginstruments to effectively monitor critical limits.Performsstandard diagnostics, monitor site performance indicators andperform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for interruptions orincidents.Performs troubleshooting, emergency and correctivemaintenance, repair actions. perform laboratory testing andcomplete chemical and gas container change outs.Maintains log ofgauge readings, shift throughput, and equipmentmalfunctions.Patrols area to inspect equipment and record tanklevels and gauge readings, makes recipe adjustments to ensurecorrect gas/chemical concentrations are blended for manufacturingprocess equipment.Ensures processing conditions and process outputare within regulatory limits and alerting management ofdiscrepancies.Perform standard and non-standard equipmentmaintenance, repairs and modifications to ensure smooth operationsinline with environmental protection requirements.JobQualificationsEligible to work in Germany and available for 3months on-the-job training in Taiwan.Chemical Technician orequivalent technical apprenticeship education in Gas and ChemicalSystems, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 2–3years of experience in a facilities, utilities, or Gas and Chemicalwater treatment related role.Fundamental understanding of chemicaland gas semiconductor distribution systems. Pumping, filtration andautomation.Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment withrotating shifts or on-call duties.Deep interest in mechanical,chemical, and electrical principles related to Gas and Chemicalwater treatment systems.
