Salary: £35,000-£42,000 | Full‑time, On‑site

We are partnering with an organisation seeking an experienced and hands‑on Facilities Manager to take ownership of a busy operational site. This role offers the opportunity to lead a multi‑functional onsite services team while ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the building and its associated services.

\n\nThe Role\n

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the building, grounds, and workplace services. You'll oversee a small onsite team covering areas such as reception, catering, and maintenance, while also managing external contractors across cleaning, security, and engineering disciplines.

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • Managing daily operations for the building and surrounding areas
  • \n

  • Leading and developing an onsite services team
  • \n

  • Driving planned preventative maintenance and supporting with hands‑on tasks when required
  • \n

  • Overseeing building infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • \n

  • Managing supplier and contractor performance, from procurement through to ongoing oversight
  • \n

  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and carrying out regular inspections and risk assessments
  • \n

  • Monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and producing relevant reports
  • \n

  • Leading space planning, refurbishments, and small works or improvement projects
  • \n

  • Overseeing site security protocols, incident response, and risk management processes
  • \n

\n\nCandidate Profile\n

    \n
  • 5+ years' experience in a facilities management role
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
  • \n

  • Experience managing contractors, budgets, and small teams
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety compliance
  • \n

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities
  • \n

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • \n

  • Desirable qualifications: NEBOSH/IOSH, Legionella Responsible Person
  • \n
