Facilities Manager

Beverly, NJ | Full-Time | On-Site

A well-established organization in the Beverly, NJ area is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of commercial buildings and surrounding grounds. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys working in an active, industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on mechanical systems, buildings, and grounds
• Complete and document work orders for all completed tasks
• Oversee and coordinate outside contractors working on-site
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and procedures
• Proactively identify maintenance needs and address issues efficiently
• Assist with general facility operations as needed

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience in an industrial or commercial environment
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing during an 8-hour shift
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and similar equipment
• Comfortable working around loud noise, dust, fumes, bright lights, and varying temperatures
• Able to work indoors and outdoors year-round
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills with vendors, contractors, and coworkers
• Self-starter who can work independently and prioritize tasks
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to assist outside defined duties
