Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facility Manager to oversee the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our factory. This individual will be responsible for facility management, security and janitorial oversight, inventory control, and coordinating shipments and deliveries with both customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in maintaining efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilities Management
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the factory facilities to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
  1. Janitorial and Security Oversight
  • Supervise janitorial staff and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Oversee security operations to maintain a safe working environment.
  1. Shipments & Deliveries
  • Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  1. Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, WIP (work in progress), and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute inventory reports, ensuring organized storage and accessibility.
  1. Customer & Supplier Communication
  • Serve as point of contact for customers and suppliers regarding deliveries and scheduling.
  • Proactively resolve issues related to shipments, logistics, and inventory.
  1. Factory Upkeep
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the factory floor.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements for safety, efficiency, and workflow.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facility or operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems and logistics.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multiple functions (security, janitorial, inventory, shipping).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with external partners and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
