Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Facilities Maintenance Technicians for projects located in and around Greensboro, NC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $44/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Apply professional knowledge of facilities operations to support university and departmental goals.

• Develop, implement, and manage preventive, predictive, and comprehensive maintenance programs across:

  • 600-acre farm

  • 240-acre campus

  • 3.5M sq. ft. of facilities

• Oversee utilities operations including chillers, boilers, steam, water, sewer, storm water, and electrical systems.

• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and university codes/guidelines.

• Serve on emergency operations teams and campus committees as required.

• Provide input and technical guidance to support strategic planning, growth, and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of facilities experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Multi-building maintenance experience

  • Facilities Engineer certification

  • North Carolina state license in Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • APPA membership
