Facilities Engineer – Facilities Management\nWorcestershire\n£30,000 0 £35,000-+ Van\n\n6 month Contract\n\nAbout the Company:\n\nJoin an outstanding Facilities Management provider delivering hard services to educational sites. We pride ourselves on providing first-class customer service and a supportive team culture, offering engineers the tools, training, and autonomy to thrive in their roles.\n\nRole Overview:\n\nWe are looking for a skilled Facilities Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across an Educational sites within Worcestrshire region. You will be responsible for ensuring buildings are safe, well-maintained, and compliant, working closely with the wider FM team to deliver exceptional service to clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a range of building fabric systems inclduing aspects such as emergency light testing & fire alarm testing.\n\n * Undertake general building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, decorating, tiling, basic electrical, and other handyman duties.\n\n * Respond quickly and effectively to reactive maintenance requests.\n\n * Complete all job sheets and paperwork accurately, maintaining compliance with company procedures.\n\n * Liaise with clients and site teams, providing excellent customer service at all times.\n\n * Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health & safety guidelines.\n\n * Support the wider engineering team with additional duties as required.\n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\n * Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer, or similar role within FM.\n\n * Enahnced DBS is needed\n\n * Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance.\n\n * Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe working practices.\n\n * Good communication skills and a client-focused attitude.\n\n * NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in a relevant trade (desirable but not essential)
