Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Site Type:
Multi-use site including:

• High-rise office building
• Retail spaces
• Hotel
• Additional offices

Team Overview:
The candidate will work alongside another building engineer and report directly to the Chief Engineer.

Role Overview / Typical Day:
This is a “jack of all trades” role involving:

• Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance
• Fire alarm system monitoring and maintenance
• HVAC system operations (cooling and heating)
• Replacing bulbs and fixtures
• Light carpentry and general maintenance tasks

Licenses/Certifications:

• Philadelphia Class A license but not required

Required Skills:

• Experience in Class A office buildings in Center City
• Fire alarm system experience
• Basic HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge

Skills:

• Water source heat pump experience
• Building automation systems experience

Experience: 4–5 years

Education: High school diploma

Software Skills:

• Basic computer skills
• Work order system knowledge

Interview Process:

1. First-round virtual interview with Hiring Manager (Teams)
2. Second-round in-person interview with Chief Building Engineer and GM
