Facilities Engineer\n\n7-month initial contract\n\nOnsite working - Whitley\n\n£27.21ph (Inside IR35), 40 hrs pw\n\n*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*\n\nAbout the company\n\nI am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are seeking a Facilities Engineer to join their team\n\nJob Description\n\nAs Facilities Engineer, your main responsibilities include:\n\nDiagnose equipment issues, own the issue and use available resources resolve.\nThe raising of eTrackers, tracking and managing them through to closure, to minimise facility downtime.\nAnalysis of data and evaluation of findings to provide solutions and move test activity and pilot build forward.\nInterpretation of data and communication to customers.\nData driven diagnosis and rectification of issues, engagement of support teams to facilitate resolution.\nPerform routine maintenance on facilities equipment during scheduled down time. \n\nQualifications / Skills needed\n\nLevel 4 qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\nProven ability to plan, co-ordinate and control own workflow and achieve quality results.\nProven skills in fault finding and resolution, problem analysis and root-cause identification are crucial, as is a methodical, logical approach to work.\nExperience with physical maintenance activities.\nCalibration and Instrumentation knowledge.\nEmissions, Mechanical and/or Electrical skills and knowledge. \n\nWhy work through Contechs?\n\nContechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
