Job Summary:
A Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician will possess the requisite skills, knowledge and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery as well as general building requirements.
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs including but not limited to: PLC, relay logic, mechanical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems
- Write up work order requests, (either physically or through mobile software), and research through various sources/vendors which parts to order.
- Works with other maintenance team members on various open projects
- Maintain logs and Preventative Maintenance Schedules for various machining/press centers.
- Adheres to proper safety procedures and regulations.
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Significant experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of industrial woodworking equipment including CNC based routers, drills, saws, banders, presses, and other woodworking equipment
- Significant experience in general facilities maintenance including electrical (high and low voltage and three phase); plumbing systems, boilers and HVAC systems, and general structural repair and maintenance.
- Welding experience a plus
- Electrical wiring/experience desired
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Administrative and organizational experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures for machine operation, preventative maintenance, tool management, and quality control a plus.
- Ability to utilize manual and electronic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measurers, etc.).
- Possess basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work overtime hours as needed.
- Able to withstand standing for long periods of time. Frequent turning and reaching required.
- Able to lift in excess of 25 lbs.

Schedule:
- First Shift
- M-F 6am-2:30pm
- Overtime as needed
