This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly experienced Facets Solution Architect SME to provide architectural leadership for a large-scale Facets implementation within the healthcare payer environment. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution design, integrations, and technical standards to support CMS program requirements, including Medicare Advantage (MA) and Medicaid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of the Facets platform across the organization
- Define and maintain solution architecture, technical standards, and best practices
- Design and oversee system integrations between Facets and third-party technologies (ETLs, APIs, and other enterprise systems)
- Provide subject matter expertise on Facets data structures, infrastructure, and system compatibility
- Design and support environment strategy, including setup and data movement across environments
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant system solutions
- Collaborate with business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure alignment across all workstreams
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring system performance, scalability, and stability
- Support data migration and system transformation efforts as part of the Facets implementation
- Maintain documentation related to architecture, integrations, and system configurations
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with the Facets platform
- At least 3 years of experience working with CMS work products, including Medicare Advantage (MA) or Medicaid
- Deep understanding of Facets environments, including setup and data movement across environments
- Experience working with Facets version 25.1 or newer
- In-depth knowledge of Facets data infrastructure, architecture, and system compatibility
- Proven experience designing and implementing integrations with third-party technologies (ETLs, APIs, etc.)
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations and claims processing workflows
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels
