Job Description
MTrec’s new career opportunity\n\nOur client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for as Metal Fabricator to join them on a permanent basis.\n\nThe Job you’ll do\n\n * As a Welder / Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing components with the utmost precision.\n\n * You will work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components.\n\n * The role requires close collaboration with our production and engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.\n\n * Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals.\n\n * Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately.\n\n * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines.\n\n * Working with various sections, plate, laser cut and machined components 1-30+ mm thick.\n\n * Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards.\n\n * Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.\n\nAbout You\n\n * Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.\n\n * Demonstrated experience with variety of metals including stainless steel and aluminium.\n\n * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.\n\n * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.\n\n * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\n\n * Good communication skills to support collaboration within production.\n\nThe Rewards and the Benefits\n\n * Remuneration: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience.\n\n * 39 hours over 4 days.\n\n * Overtime at 1½.\n\n * 5 weeks holiday.\n\n * The chance to work with a diverse range of clients and industries.\n\n * The opportunity to make a significant impact within a reputable company.\n\n * A supportive and collaborative work environment.\n\n * Benefits package, including pension scheme and biannual bonus scheme subject to the business performance, purchasing and selling of holidays
