Fabricator Welder

S&D Trade Recruitment is working with one of our clients to recruit for an experienced Fabricator / TIG Welder based in Wrexham. An opportunity has arisen to join their on-site team as a Fabricator / TIG Welder where you will become part of a well established collabrative team of Engineers.



This is a temp to perm role offering a competitive rate of up to £17.70 per hour, working Monday to Friday (days), 39 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is available at weekends with enhanced pay rates.



Fabricator / TIG Welder Duties:



* Carry out high-quality stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding.



* Work to tight tolerances (0.5mm – 3mm) on a variety of manufacturing components.



* Use hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.



* Support reactive and planned maintenance projects as required.



* Checking quality of work and ensuring accuracy in finished products.



* Working alongside other Engineers to meet daily targets.



* Ensure all work meets Health and Safety standards.



Fabricator / TIG Welder Requirements:



* Ideally you will have an NVQ / City & Guilds in Fabrication or equivalent on the job work experience.



* Proven experience in fabrication and TIG welding.



* Skilled in stainless steel fabrication and working to fine tolerances.



* Good communication skills and timekeeping.
