Job Description
As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of welders and fabrication personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and production efficiency are met. You will champion interdepartmental communication, oversee daily operations, and help drive continuous improvement across fabrication processes.Responsibilities
- Review daily production logs and lead shift-to-shift communication
- Supervise, support, and develop hourly production team members
- Assign daily tasks to welders and oversee fabrication activities (fit-up, welding, lifting)
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, proper equipment use, and housekeeping standards
- Monitor and ensure timely, high-quality production output
- Collaborate with departments such as welding, shipping, maintenance, paint, blast, and laser to meet production goals
- Maintain accurate records of production and employee performance
- Train new welders on safety and welding techniques
- Report production status, delays, or equipment issues at daily production meetings
- Evaluate employee performance, promote accountability, and support skill development
- Lead efforts to implement and uphold safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in a fabrication or welding leadership role
- Strong understanding of welding standards, fabrication processes, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate with multiple departments
- Experience training and evaluating employees
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

The base pay range for this position is $80k-$105k/annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
